There is no flaw in you.

In today's world, men and women alike are held to unattainable standards. Why is that? Like most girls, I have struggled with my self image as long as I can remember. I have never been tall enough, thin enough, blonde enough, tan enough... I have never been good enough. I have always longed for the day I had a man who looked at me and said, "You are perfect in every way." While I do have the most wonderful, godly man in my life, I can never be perfect for him. This world is not perfect. I am not perfect. Yet, still he loves me.

Song of Solomon 4:7. "All beautiful you are, my darling; there is no flaw in you."

I waited over 21 years to hear this, and it was there for me all along. Despite my imperfections, He sees no flaw in me. Yes, I'm short, I'm extremely pale, I am curvy. I have small hands, stubby toes, a crooked smile... I could go on for days. But I have always been good enough for Him.

What blows my mind even more goes beyond my physical appearance. He knows my heart. He knows I lie. I envy. I lust. I hurt. I hide. He knows it all. He took all those things upon himself and left them there at Calvary. Because of that, I am made whole. Because of that, I am good enough. Because of that, I am beautiful.

"All beautiful you are, my darling; there is no flaw in you."
